“Chef Miguel Guerra of Michelin-starred El Cielo and Chef Tatiana Mora of Serenata are proud to announce the return of the acclaimed pop-up, MITA, a contemporary concept where Latin vegetables and flavors take center stage, bringing their Latin American heritage with an ingeniously crafted menu of the best products from the region.
MITA’s ethos is to celebrate plant-forward foods, not only fruits and vegetables but the bountiful oils, whole grains, beans, legumes, seeds and nuts that can provide us with a delicious and wholesome meal.
While Latin American dishes are often protein-centric (like ropa vieja, arroz con pollo, beef stews), there are an infinite number of vegetables that create some of the most incredible plant-based dishes. MITA’s mission is to instigate a new way of eating that is not only healthy, but also sustainable.”
