Punjab Grill

“Punjab Grill, part of an award-winning family of restaurants celebrating the rich culinary and cultural heritage of India’s most fertile region, opens its first outlet in the United States with our downtown Washington, DC outpost. Unlike western grills, the eastern usage of ‘grill’ offers a melange of cooking styles from across Punjab, from aromatic tangines to tender kabobs. No two Punjab Grills have the same menu or interior, and each location offers its guests, different journeys throughout our beloved homeland while reflecting and embracing the cultures where the Grill is welcomed.
FLAVORFUL IMPRESSIONS: Every dish has something to say. The culinary influences of Punjab are diverse—from Persian to Pakistani to Mongolian to British. Each style meets and mingles at the Grill, bringing distinct flavors and cooking techniques that result in flavorful, sumptuous dishes that leave a lasting impression. Our table is truly open to all.
THOUGHTFUL INGREDIENTS: Where our ingredients come from is incredibly important to us. We work with countless local farms and producers to make sure that all of our seafood, meats, and produce are sustainably sourced and grown. We work with some incredible partners to ensure that only the very best products end up on our tables. Elysian Farms, one of our incredible producers, has been creating outstanding products for over 20 years. Our micro greens are grown locally for us, right here in Arlington, by Fresh Impact Farms who specialize in sustainable farming!”

MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
“From the hand-carved wood and gold-patterned wallpaper to the gleaming marble, it seems no expense was spared when designing Punjab Grill, the first statewide outpost of a luxury chain with locations spanning the globe. The regional Punjab-focused menu is equally dazzling and luxurious, with caviar and gold leaf sprinkled in among other quality ingredients. One, not-to-be-missed favorite is the aloo tikki chaat, which arrives as a towering, boulder-like presentation of crispy potato cake topped with a mashup of lightly roasted Brussels sprouts and fried kale, then dressed with avocado sauce, raspberry chutney, and rosewater-infused yogurt. The drama continues through dessert, with the elegant and eye-catching dark chocolate pistachio gianduja.”
